Special requirements are being placed to group I. Due to the fact that we do not manufacture apparatuses for this group, it will not be considered in the following applications

| Zone 0: | Areas, where a potentially explosive atmosphere as a mixture of air and burnable
gases, steams or fogs exists either permanently, for a long period of time or often

| Zone 1: | Areas, where a potentially explosive atmosphere as a mixture of air and burnable gases, steams or fogs might occur from time to time during normal operation procedures. |
| Zone 2: | Areas, where a potentially explosive atmosphere as a mixture of air and burnable gases, steams or fogs normally does not occur at all or only occurs for a short period of time. | | 2.2 | Dusts (Zone D) |
| Zone 20: | Areas, where a potentially explosive atmosphere forming a cloud of burnable dust contained in the air exists either permanently, for a long period of time or often. |

Thus they can be applied in the zones 1 + 2 as well as zones 21 + 22. Besides this the following temperature classification has to be considered:

| The temperature class has to be determined depending on the ignition temperature of the mixture as well as the surface temperature of the apparatus. Due to the fact that the hose reels do not possess an own source of temperature they are classified in category T6. The installation in hot surroundings as well as the passing through of media with more than 85°C disqualifies the apparatus accordingly. |
